Office Clearance
Russell Fewins currently supply a range of office clearance services including:
- office furniture clearance
- IT clearance
- confidential waste clearance.
Clearing office premises ready for re-use can be one of the most time consuming and labour intensive tasks in facilities management.
Not only does an organisation need to plan and coordinate appropriately, issues such as the disposal of waste and decommissioning of IT can prove major headaches – especially in the light of increasingly tough regulations regarding the environment, recycling and data protection.
An an ISO9001/2000 company all of our services have a full audit trail. Russell Fewins are licensed to carry waste. All furniture is delivered to Green Works where a certificate of the weight of the items to be recycled is provided.
In all instances Russell Fewins will provide an audited certificate to confirm the specific recycling process used on an individual project.
Confidential waste and IT is delivered to specialist recycling centres. Redundant IT material is crushed where appropriate and then recycled into base materials. Any equipment that does not require destruction is wiped of data and external markings and then sent for re-use. The operator we use is licensed to process as per the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive.
All confidential paper waste is shredded and the baled paper recycled. Destruction certificates are provided for all IT and paper recycling.
