In addition to our commercial removals, archiving and storage services, we are also very experienced in the area of office clearances.
Clearing office premises ready for re-use can be one of the most time consuming and labour intensive tasks in facilities management.
Not only does an organisation need to plan and coordinate appropriately, issues such as the disposal of waste and decommissioning of IT can prove major headaches – especially in the light of increasingly tough regulations regarding the environment, recycling and data protection.
Russell Fewins is a professional office clearance company currently supplying a range of office clearance services including:
Office furniture disposal
Office furniture reuse
Office furniture recycling

Office Furniture Recycling Services
Why recycle furniture when it could be reused?
Russell Fewins get involved in a large number of office furniture clearance projects. Sometimes the client wants the furniture recycled but sometimes the furniture is a good enough condition to be reused.
Russell Fewins have partnered with Business2Schools - a registered charity which takes quality but unwanted office furniture and places it in schools. By donating your unwanted office furniture and tech through the Business2Schools charity, we are able to make schools in the UK an even better experience for children and students.
Whilst there is a cost for the removal and relocation of this furniture - there is no recycling charge. Want to learn more?Get in touch today.
We also work in association with London Re-Use Commercial (formerly GreenWorks) – an organisation which is dedicated to re-using unwanted office furniture and equipment which has been in operation since 2000.
We have carried out a number of small and large scale office clearance projects across London, Kent, Essex, Sussex.
As an ISO9001/2008 company all of our services have a full audit trail. Russell Fewins are licensed to carry waste. All furniture is carefully processed where a certificate of the weight of the items to be recycled is provided.
In all instances Russell Fewins will provide an audited certificate to confirm the specific recycling process used on an individual project. Confidential waste and IT is delivered to specialist recycling centres. Redundant IT material is crushed where appropriate and then recycled into base materials. Any equipment that does not require destruction is wiped of data and external markings and then sent for re-use.
The operator we use is licensed to process as per the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive.
All confidential paper waste is shredded and the baled paper recycled. Destruction certificates are provided for all IT and paper recycling.
